The bibliography accompanying the exhibition "Turkish Literature in German 1800 - 2008" covers in 140 pages all literary translations from Turkish into German from the last two hundred years, a period that begins with the first cultural and political relations between the German and Ottoman Empires and continues up to the present day. The bibliography contains not only details of works and authors, but also collected information on the living important translators and gives a deep insight into the literary history of Turkey, which is also comprehensible in German.
